The real Vietnam, personally guided

I met Vinh in 2023 during my first visit to the Nha Trang region, and that day is still one of my favorite memories.

From our very first excursion, Vinh was incredibly attentive, warm, and always willing to take the time to explain the places we were discovering. With him, I was able to experience a much more authentic side of Nha Trang: the beautiful Ba Ho waterfalls, the Amitabha Buddha at Tòng Lâm Lô Sơn, the wooden bridge over the Cái River, as well as meeting local people and discovering how noodles, rice paper, and different traditional crafts are made.

That first experience became much more than just a tour. Over the years, Vinh has become a very good friend, someone I meet every time I return to Nha Trang, whether it is simply for a coffee or to head out again and discover new places together.

In April 2025, my best friend and I joined Vinh for a private three-day motorbike adventure, each of us riding our own scooter. We followed the route Nha Trang → Lak Lak → Da Lat → Nha Trang. The journey was exceptional: stunning scenery, elephants, coffee plantations, dragon fruit farms, waterfalls, and many other discoveries along the way.

What I especially appreciate about traveling with Vinh is that his tours allow you to experience Vietnam in a completely different way. We ate in genuinely local places and visited areas that are often far away from the usual tourist routes. Because the tours are private, you can travel at your own pace and enjoy the places without being surrounded by large groups of tourists.

In August 2026, I joined him again for another full-day excursion around Nha Trang. Even after several tours together, Vinh still manages to show me new things. This time, I mainly wanted to enjoy the landscapes for photography and video, so we explored the coastline, the sea, and the mountains, with many beautiful viewpoints along the way. It was exactly what I was looking for.

After several years and several adventures with him, I can say that Vinh does not simply offer tours: he genuinely shares his region, his culture, and the places he loves.

I highly recommend Vinh to anyone who wants to discover Nha Trang and the surrounding area in an authentic, private way, far from the usual tourist routes.

A wonderful wonderful insight into daily lives and local culture, which we wouldn’t otherwise have seen. Mr. Vinh and his driver were very helpful, and happy to answer many questions about the things that we saw. He is a lovely man and this tour was a highlight of our trip.

Vinh hatt mich auf der Straße in Nah Trang angesprochen und erzählte mir was er macht hatte sogar ein Hanschriliches Gästebuch dabei einige Auszüge sind hier zu lesen . Trotzdem wahr ich Skeptisch. Ich buchte eine Tagesausflug mit ihm zu den Ba Ho Wasserfällen er fuhr aber nicht Stur zu den Wasserfällen sonder auf dem Weg zeigte er mir Traditionelle Handwerksbetrieben was sehr interessant Wahr und auf Klosteranlagen die man als Tourist schwer findet . Wir sindd In Traditionellen Restaurants essen gewesen es wahr ein Rundum gelungener Tag . Daraufhin buchte ich eine 3 Tage Tour Vinh kümmerte sich um die Hotels alle wahren sehr Sauber .Ich durfte in den 3 Tagen das Elefantenreiten genießen ich hatte wunderschöne Aussichten in sehr Tiefe Schluchten mit Wasserfällen. Es Ein Traumhaftes Erlebnisse danach ging es Nach Da Lat eine eine Stadt auf 2000 Meter Höhe . Eine sehenswerte Stadt mit einem Nachtmarkt. Vinh ging auch sehr auf meine Bedürfnisse ein un zeigte mir das was ich wirklich sehen wollte er merkte sehr schnell was für mich Interessant wahr . Er hatte diese 3 Tage zu den schönsten Urlaubstagen gemacht . Ich kann mich nur bei ihm bedanken . Ich kann jedem Nr Empfehlen mit Vinh Vietnam zu Erkunden denn er kenn Orte die Versteckt liegen und die Wunderschön sind .

Si un jour vous êtes arrêtés par Vinh dans la rue, ce n’est pas un hasard c’est un cadeau. Vinh vous montreras des endroits où vous ne seriez jamais allés en tant que touriste, le « real Vietnam » comme il dit. Ca a été une expérience unique que je retiendrais toute ma vie. Je ne vous en dis pas plus pour que vous ayez la surprise. Je n’ai qu’une chose à dire…FONCEZ !!!

Nous avons fait un trip de 5 jours entre Nha Trang et Hoi An, et c’était clairement l’une des meilleures expériences de notre voyage au Vietnam.

Pendant ces 5 jours, nous avons découvert des endroits magnifiques, rencontré beaucoup de locaux et surtout découvert le vrai Vietnam, loin des endroits les plus touristiques. Nous avons pu voir leur façon de vivre, partager des moments avec eux et découvrir la culture vietnamienne d’une manière complètement différente.

Les guides étaient géniaux, toujours de bonne humeur, attentionnés et passionnés par leur pays. On s’est vraiment sentis accompagnés par des amis plutôt que par de simples guides.

Si vous voulez découvrir un Vietnam plus authentique, rencontrer les habitants et vivre une vraie aventure plutôt que simplement visiter les lieux touristiques, je recommande cette expérience à 100 %.
